Competition Terms & Conditions

STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Competition details as advertised form part of these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to residents of NZ and AU except employees (and their families) of Evolve Outdoors Group Ltd. its printers and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competitions.
Proof of identity may be required.
Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.
No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on the Winner’s behalf.
Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Evolve Outdoors Group Ltd. relating to any post-winning publicity.
Unless stated otherwise the winner(s) will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by the closing date stated within the promotional material.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random, or in the event that the promotion is being judged the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner(s)-up selected by the same judges.
Confirmation of the prize will be made in writing to the winner(s).
Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision. Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
The Provider of the prize and Promoter is Evolve Outdoors Group Limited, 2 Raiha Street, Porirua, Wellington, New Zealand.
In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material (or any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry), the details of the promotional material (and any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry) shall prevail.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: FISH IT FORWARD™ COMPETITION

1. Promotion Name:

The promotion is called "FISH IT FORWARD" (the “Competition”).

2. Promoter:

The promoter of this Competition is Desolve, based in New Zealand and Australia (the “Promoter”).

3. Entry Method:

To enter the Competition, participants must visit the official Desolve New Zealand or Australian website and follow the instructions to enter. Full entry instructions are available on the website.

4. Competition Period:

The Competition opens at 9:00am Tuesday 10th December 2024 and closes at 11:59 PM (NZT/AEST) on Thursday 30th January 2025. Entries received after this time will not be eligible.

5. Eligibility:

The Competition is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

6. Winner Selection:

One winner will be selected from all eligible entries received by the closing date. The winner will be drawn after Thursday, 30th January 2025.

7. Notification of Winner:

The winner will be contacted by email using the contact details provided in their entry by close of business on Friday, 31st January 2025. If the winner cannot be contacted within 72 hours of the notification email being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a new winner from the remaining eligible entries.

8. Prize Details:

The winner will receive a prize consisting of $1,000 worth of Desolve gear, provided in the form of a discount code redeemable on either the New Zealand or Australian Desolve website.

The discount code is valid for one-time use only.
The discount code cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can it be redeemed for any products other than those available on the specified website (NZ or AU).
The discount code must be used by a specified date and is subject to stock availability.

9. Consent to Use of Entry:

By entering the Competition, entrants grant the Promoter permission to share their "Fish It Forward" entry story, including but not limited to text, images, and/or video, on the Promoter’s website and social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram, and others). Entrants agree to be featured in future promotional content by the Promoter, without compensation.

10. General Terms:

The Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding.
By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
The Promoter is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to any person or property arising from participation in the Competition or the use of the prize.

11. Privacy:

Personal information provided by entrants will be used in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy, which can be found on the official Desolve website.

12. Governing Law:

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and Australia, as applicable. By entering this Competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: ANNUAL $1000 GEAR COMPETITION

Entries close each year on 28th February 11:59pm NZST, winner will be drawn and contacted 1st March and announced once confirmed.
The winner will receive $1000 worth of gear at retail value as of the time of the competition being drawn.
The items as to which the winner will receive is decided by Evolve Outdoors Group Ltd.
The prize is as stated, is not transferable to another individual and not redeemable for cash or credits.
The prize or items within the prize are not eligible to be redeemed in any store or stockist of Desolve Supply Co. products.
The prize or items within the prize are not eligible to be returned in any store or stockist of Desolve Supply Co. products for cash or credit.
